The National Aerobics & Fitness Trainers Association was founded by Sherry Morton, BA in 1996. Since that time we have hosted thousands of Fitness Educational Workshops through out the world. We started in a dining room, moved to a garage and now we are in a 2200 square foot office building that employs a staff on site of 10 and off site of over 45. NAFTA has seen the emergence of step aerobics in the 80’s, experienced the kickboxing in the late 90’s, and now the excitement of Pilates and yoga! Our educational division, NAFTA Fitness Certifications, has developed high-quality certifications on topics ranging from Group Exercise, Personal Fitness Training, Pilates, Pregnancy, and from Aquatics to Aging. NAFTA Fitness Education remains committed to providing the finest instructors' education programs, fitness certifications and continuing education in the world!
NAFTA is a leader in fitness instructor education and the largest provider of continuing education credits (CECs) for group exercise instructors, aquatic professionals and personal trainers offering cutting-edge certifications, workshops and instructor videos. Customer satisfaction has never been as high! Personal attention, sensitivity to needs, and above all, attention to detail and the "we try harder" approach has won us a cornerstone in the health and fitness education industry.
The NAFTA Fitness Education database consists of more than 47,000 fitness professionals, aerobic instructors, personal trainers, club owners and managers.
